I've thrown this pot on the pottery wheel, with stoneware clay.
It has been fired twice, once as bisque and then glaze fired. I've dipped the pot in three different glazes, layering them to create a unique and organic effect. I have then run along the top of the pot with a damp sponge, to wipe some of the white glaze off to create the orange contrasting rim. I think it looks very much like a landscape. Because of the way the glaze reacts each pot is individual and unique.
This pot would be perfect as a succulent planter. It could also be used as a small serving dish for tapas or olives, or as a storage pot for keys or jewellery. Microwave, dishwasher and oven proof.
The planter height is 5.5 cm, the opening is 6.5cm and the depth is 5cm. Perfect for small succulents and cacti. Bottom of the pot has been left unglazed.
